Fact of the matter related to the purchase of property in London.

ED has registered a case under Money Laundering against Vadra for the purchase of a property worth £ 1.6 million in Bryanston Square in London. Earlier in this case, Vadra’s associate Manoj Arora had been given interim bail till February 6.

Vadra’s lawyer said during the hearing that his client is being implicated in a wrong suit. He is a law abiding citizen. Political move is taking place against them.

According to the ED, the Income Tax Department was investigating cases registered against the absconding arms businessman Sanjay Bhandari and the cases were filed under various tax laws. Meanwhile, the Income Tax Department also doubts the role of Arora. Only after due investigation the case has been registered against him.

ED has alleged that Bhandari bought a property in London for £ 1.6 million. After spending 65900 pounds on its repairs, in 2010, sold to Vadra at the same amount. It became clear that Bhandari was not the real owner of this property, but instead he had made this deal to benefit Vadra.

There is also the allegation that Vadra’s Skylight Hospitality LLP employee Arora had an important role in this deal. He also had information about Vadra’s foreign undisclosed property and also played an important role in managing the money.

The BJP targeted the Congress on Vadra’s appearance at ED. Union minister Ravi Shankar Prasad said that a member of a very reouted family had to appear before the law. This is the victory of law and democracy.

Vadra’s lawyer said that Vadra answered all the questions. This time Vadra appeared before the court for questioning. Whenever they will him called again, he will be present.
