In Jammu and Kashmir, during the last 36 hours, eight terrorists have been killed in two separate encounters, two in Hadin of Bandipura, two in Shopian, two in Kalantar and two terrorists in Sopore. Operation is complete in other places except Sopore. Security forces in Sopore are suspecting another terrorist hiding. Citizens have been evacuated to safe places from the encounter site, search of 25 to 30 houses is in progress.

A search operation was conducted on Thursday morning after the information about the presence of militants in Meer Mohalla of Haigen area of ​​Bandipora district. It included 13 Army RR, CRPF and SOG. During the third search operation, two terrorists got stuck in the circle.

In this encounter two brothers of Lashkar-e-Taiba, Ali Bhai and Hubeb were killed. According to Malik, Ali had been spreading panic in the area for quite some time, due to which the local people were very upset.

Last year, the civilian murders that took place in the Hajin and Sumabal areas have been linked to them. SSP Rahul Malik told that Ali had a trademark, he used to have a big knife and bitten him with it. Keeping in mind the upcoming election, this is a big success. The killing of these two is a major blow to the Lashkar, because Ali has been operating in different districts of northern Kashmir for the last 2 to 3 years.

Two militants of Jaish-e-Mohammed were killed in the operation carried out by the Army’s 52 RR, 29 RR, Para Commando, CRPF and SOG, in the footsteps of Baramulla, including Amir Rasool of Sopore and a Pakistani terrorist. While 3 Para commandos of the army were injured in this encounter. While dealing with the law and order situation arising during the encounter, the DSP (HQ) Baramulla Javed Ahmed and 3 jawans were also injured.
