The BSF has recovered a Pakistani boat which has come through Satluj Darya at Palla Megha village, where many smugglers are said to be active. Now the jawans are carrying out search operations in the entire area. This village is known for the supply of intoxicants and smugglers.

It is noteworthy that last year also four Pak boats were found from Satluj Daria, passing through the border village, but BSF and intelligence agency have not been able to ascertain why the boat from Pakistan comes to the Indian territory.

According to intelligence sources, on the morning of Vasant Panchami, BSF battalion 136 soldiers were patrolling along with fencing near BOP Mohamdiwala. During this time, they found an old 15 feet long wooden boat lying in Satluj Darya, at village Palla Megha. Sources say that the area is known for many active smugglers who are also related to Pak smugglers.

Just a few days ago, counter intelligence had captured a smuggler on charges of procuring five kg heroin from Pak. He also had a connection with the said village. A few months ago, Counter Intelligence found a Pak boat at the village Tindi and some footprints of some people. The boat also had the same footprints. The intelligence agency could not find a clue about those footprints.
