Anil Kapoor’s film “Slumdog Millionaire” won the Oscar award in 2009. On the completion of its 10 years, a special ceremony was organized. Anil Kapoor narrated an episode on this occasion. He told that before going to the show, he was scolded by his wife Sunita Kapoor.
Anil shared his point saying, “Before going to the show, I and my wife Sunita were talking about Sonam at night. But I was sleepy and I wanted to sleep. I told my wife to let me sleep. She became angry and said, ‘Leave Oscar and listen to me first’.
Wanted to dance
Anil said, “When I was called for the Oscars, it came to my heart to go dancing on the tunes of the song ‘Ram Lakhan’. But I could not do it because it was against the Oscars Protocol.
Anil first appeared with daughter Sonam in the film ‘Ek Ladki ko Dekha’. However, the film could not do anything special on the box office. The film has earned only 13.53 crores in 4 days. The film directed by Shaili Chopra Dhar has been produced in about Rs 35 crores. The film’s producer is Vidhu Vinod Chopra.
