Neha Kakkar On Break Up: Wasted my Time and Energy on an Undeserving Man

Entertainment

Singer Neha Kakkar has finally emerged out of her break up. Now she is focussing on her singing. She went through a difficult period after her break up with Himansh Kohli last month. They were dating each other for almost two years.

Neha disclosed in media recently: ‘ That was a tough phase of my life. I was in depression, and it was a very difficult struggle. Now I have come out of it, am single. I can say that to remain single is my life’s best moment.’

‘You know when I was in a relationship I could not give time to my family and friends. At that time, I gave all my time and energy to the person who was not worth it. I gave him so much, but he still complained. Because of that I missed my family members specially with my sibling, I missed many beautiful moments.

Have moved ahead

Thankfully, I have gone ahead after this bad relationship. I have realized that my family takes more care of me than any other person in my life. I am happy with whatever happened because it made me realize the importance of family members.

All together

I did not take any project after the reality show but when MTV Unplug offered me a show with ‘Kakkar’ special, I could not refuse. For the first time, the three of us – Tony Kakkar, Sonu Kakkar and I will sing for the unplugged version. I have decided to sing songs written by my brother Tony. I am not singing anything else.

Remix is not a bad thing.

I know that many people don’t like singers who remix the song, but personally I feel that there is no harm in it. Nowadays, all the songs I have sung have got a very good acceptance. I do not see anything wrong in it. In fact, new generation is getting the chance to listen to the old famous songs in a  new version; what’s wrong with that? People are loving it and therefore we are making them.

I have got lots of acting offers. Even I feel good when people approach me for movies. But the reasons behind not accepting any offer are previous records, which are not good. I am a successful singer and do not want to be a failed actress. Maybe in the future if a project comes with a strong story, I can take a chance, especially a woman based movie.
